My Story

What do I do

With my background being more within the construction industry, I am very well versed on the complexities of starting up or obtaining the various permissions from local councils such as Section 278/38 agreements and Section 50’s (allowing external contractors to work and install apparatus within the highway). I have extensive experience in the process of obtaining planning permission whilst also resolving planning issues that may arise from planning enforcement. I have excellent relationships with utility companies and understand the process in all aspects of connections and the legal red tape involved with local authorities. I can administer all types of licences such as skips, cranes, building materials so please do not hesitate to ask/enquire where I can assist you.

Previous Experience

I have extensive experience in Civil Engineering within the Public Sector and in particular Highways and Transportation. This involves design and implementation of new roads and footways as well as maintenance of the existing structure/network. I have a good knowledge of Street Lighting, consultation for new schemes, Vehicle Crossings and Utility Installations/Connections as well as Traffic Management and the coordination of large events on the highway.

I have also worked within the Telecommunications sector for 10 years, firstly as an Engineer, Cable Pulling Supervisor and then diversified into a Cable TV & Telecoms Designer for MDU’s (Multi Dwelling Units) and larger development sites.

I have served in the Royal Navy as a Weapons Engineer Mechanic (Radio) for 5 years and travelled the world and represented my country with exemplary character.

I am also a serving Police Officer within the Metropolitan Special Constabulary and have enjoyed this role for the past 17 years.

Qualifications

I currently hold the SWQR Supervisors Licence qualified to monitor excavations and reinstatements in the highway, avoidance of underground apparatus and singing, lighting and guarding on the highway.

I am qualified in Nebosh, Managing and Controlling Hazards in Construction Activities and Management of Health and Safety and also a member of Tech-iosh.

Conclusion

Conclusion

I am a hard work professional individual with good interaction and personable skills so that I can achieve the best that I possibly can to reach my goals, and if working with or as part of a team, can ensure our targets and end products are achieved on time and within budget.

What ever your request or issue I am sure that I can support or guide through the process so that I can become an integral part of your business.
